| 'Go Kueh Kueh' is an outlet located at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital's food court. After my Fish & Co. Express meal, I decided to have some desserts and ordered the first 2 kuehs that caught my attention. The first choice was kueh lapis ($0.70) as it was my favourite kueh! It was firm, chewy and was slightly below room temperature (chilled). The best part was it being less sweet (maybe hospital food focused on being healthier?). The next choice was a bad one and it was the durian puff ($1.20). Blame it on my own desperate urge for durian that day and furthermore, the filling was actually durian flavoured custard (maybe hospital did not allow smelly food). The puff was rather dry too and I did not enjoy it. |
